Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University's School of Theatre and Dance is ranked #50 on Study.com's list of Best Theatre Bachelor's Degree programs in the United States. In addition to this national ranking, the School of Theatre and Dance is one of only two theatre programs from the state of Ohio on the list. In its rankings, Study.com assesses hundreds of universities across the country and selected Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University based on academic and career resources, the quality of education, faculty, and more.

Over the span of 20 years, Yuko Kurahashi, professor in the School of Theatre and Dance at Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University, spent much of her time observing, researching and studying the life of Ping Chong. This research has been brought together in a book describing Ping Chong's contributions as an artist.

Porthouse Academy students

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, Porthouse Theatre has decided to cancel all of its educational programs for the summer of 2020, including the High School Shadow Program, the Porthouse College Academy, and the Porthouse International Academy.

You can conduct the KSU Orchestra

The Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ Creativity Festival, sponsored by the city of Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ and the Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University College of the Arts, will present the annual outdoor hands-on arts festival on Saturday, Sept. 28, from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. on the Lefton Esplanade between Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State’s Rockwell Hall on Lincoln Street and downtown Ñý¼§Ö±²¥, near Haymaker Parkway.
