Health and Wellness Resources

CARES Center

The CARES Center works collaboratively with students to secure resource that meet their basic needs. The Center works to connect all Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State students with both on and off-campus resources within our four priority areas of financial wellness, safe, stable, and affordable housing, food security, and mental wellbeing.

DeWeese Health Center

Located on Eastway Drive, DeWeese Health Center provides all eligible students, faculty and staff nonemergent outpatient care, including examination and treatment for illness and minor injuries, women's healthcare, laboratory, x-ray, physical therapy, pharmacy services and health education. The DeWeese Health Center accepts all Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State employee health plans and other major carriers.  Self-pay rates are available for uninsured patients.

Flashes Fighting Hunger

Flashes Fighting Hunger at Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University is a student-powered and volunteer-driven organization dedicated to reducing food waste and promoting food security.

Mental Health

On the mental health website, you’ll find all mental health and well-being services that support the Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University community across our campus system and abroad. This site will help you identify resources for yourself or others and provides information on educational resources to enhance learning around mental health and well-being.

Identity and Cultural Resources

LGBTQ+ Center

The Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State LGBTQ+ Center supports an inclusive environment on all KSU campuses, advocates for all individuals and community groups based on sexual and gender identity, and promotes physical, mental and academic wellness.

Student Multicultural Center

The mission of the Student Multicultural Center is to cultivate a sense of belonging and cultural affirmation for our students. We value growth of the individual student and strive to connect communities that encourage and support an appreciation for difference. To support students, we collaborate with on-and off-campus stakeholders which allows us to operate as a community, a family, and a village. 

Women’s Center

Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University Women's Center exists to facilitate the advancement of and to enhance the quality of educational experience and professional life for women students, faculty and staff of all campuses.

Bookstore

The offers official logo merchandise, software and online ordering.

Career Exploration and Development

The Career Exploration and Development supports students in achieving their career goals by providing assistance with choosing a major, acquiring experience through student employment and internships and preparing to undertake a professional job search.

Code of Conduct

As members of the Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University community, students are expected to demonstrate responsible conduct. The Code of Student Conduct translates these expectations into specific policies and describes the process through which claims of violations are resolved.

FLASHcard

The FLASHcard is your Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University ID card and more. Your card will let you take materials out of the library, access services such as the Student Recreation and Wellness Center and athletic events, and purchase food on and off campus.

LaunchNET

LaunchNET is an innovative program that teaches students, faculty and alumni how to transform their ideas into thriving businesses. By connecting entrepreneurs with mentors, experts and resources, the program provides the advice, counsel and network necessary to get their ideas off the ground.

Student Accessibility Services

Student Accessibility Services provides assistance to students with varying degrees and types of disabilities in order to maximize educational opportunity and academic potential.

Student Legal Services

Student Legal Services is a nonprofit law firm brought to Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University by the Undergraduate Student Senate. The purpose of Student Legal Services is to help you understand and resolve the legal issues that you might face while you are a student.

Student Ombuds

The Office of the Student Ombuds acts as an advocate for students and strives to develop a fair and equitable university community.
