Students in the Horticulture program at Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University at Salem help to keep their campus looking great year round by preparing perennial plants for storage as seasons change.
The lecture series created in 2022 to honor the legacy of Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University Professor Emeritus of Sociology Jerry M. Lewis, Ph.D., will feature Professor of Geography Chris Post, Ph.D., presenting “Developing and Interpreting the Wounded Student Markers at Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State†as this year’s selected speaker. The Jerry M. Lewis May 4 Lecture Series and Luncheon will be held on May 3.
Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University is one of the top undergraduate schools for game design studies according to ®. The education services company features Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State, with animation game design programs through the College of Applied and Technical Studies at the Ñý¼§Ö±²¥, Stark and Tuscarawas campuses, on its 15th annual ranking list, Top 50 Undergraduate Schools for Game Design for 2024.
Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University at Geauga provided treats, activities and therapy dogs to help students de-stress before midterms this semester.
Engineering technology students at Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University at Tuscarawas now have access to new state-of-the-art portable electronic equipment.
The high-tech equipment was purchased through the Governor’s Office of Appalachia (GOA) and the Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC) Workforce Development Grant for $182,000 with funding from Ohio Mid-Eastern Governments Association (OMEGA), Tuscarawas County Commissioners, Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University, Buckeye Career Center, OhioMeansJobs, Tuscarawas County Chamber of Commerce, and the Tuscarawas County Foundation.
Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State's founding president was born on Jan. 8, 1867. His tireless dedication to the institution and its students is reflected in innovations that continue to propel Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University forward today.
