Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University at Salem students Jennifer Barnes (left) and Jessica Palo (right) are putting plants into storage for the winter. 

 

Senior horticulture major Jessica Palo and junior horticulture major Jennifer Barnes are helping to keep their campus at Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University at Salem beautiful all year round. In this fall season, they are preparing Canna lilies for winter storage.

Tina Smith, public relations coordinator, Strategic Communications and Marketing, Regional Campuses, said, "The lilies were part of the beautiful, potted displays that decorated the patios on campus through the summer, but will reappear next year, thanks to the care they are receiving now."
