During move-out, students sometimes trash clothes and boxes of food. Throw ‘N’ Go, Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University's annual move-out program, is currently underway to keep those useable items out of landfills and in the hands of people who need them.
Every April, Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University celebrates Earth Month by having Earth-related events all month long. Tuesday, April 22, 2025, is the 55th anniversary of Earth Day, with this year’s theme being Our Power, Our Planet.
Thrifting has become increasingly popular among college students thanks to its affordability, sustainability and trendy fashion options. As most college students’ budgets are tight, thrift stores can offer high-quality clothing and accessories at a fraction of the cost of new items. Luckily, Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State students has a plethora of thrift spots on and near campus.
Future Flash Days welcome high school students and their families to explore Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State and learn more about their areas of interest. Colleges, schools and departments offer tours and demonstrations to give these prospective students a taste of life on campus and Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State's many different programs of study.
It was just a year ago on April 8, 2024, that the Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University community came together to witness a spectacular celestial event – the 2024 Total Solar Eclipse.
