Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University, the city of Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ and the Portage Area Regional Transit Authority (PARTA) jointly have committed to the economic development of retail/entertainment areas serving students, employees and guests of the university and the city.
Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University’s first major construction project to create a new signature gateway to the Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ Campus will begin in the summer of 2020. At its Dec. 4 meeting, the Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State Board of Trustees approved the construction of the university’s first parking deck.
Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University’s long-standing relationship with the Tuscarawas County University Branch District to administer the Tuscarawas Campus of Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State will continue through June 30, 2030, in a new 10-year agreement approved by the Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State Board of Trustees.
The Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University Board of Trustees on Wednesday unanimously approved a new collective bargaining agreement with the Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State Chapter of the American Association of University Professors (AAUP-KSU), which represents tenured and tenure-track faculty.
Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine has appointed Ann Womer Benjamin, J.D., of Aurora, Ohio, to the Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University Board of Trustees. Her appointment began June 21, 2019, and ends May 16, 2028.
