Ohio Homeland Security to Present Explosive-Detection Canine to the Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University Police Department

WHAT:
The Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University Police Department will soon deploy its newest staff member, Dexter, a male Belgian Malinois trained as an explosive-detection canine. The purchase and training for the canine, veterinarian bills and other equipment were funded by a federal grant and Ohio Homeland Security budget funds.

Meet Dexter at a news conference on Nov. 19 when the Ohio Department of Public Safety introduces Dexter to the Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State community. Members of the media are invited to attend. If you are interested in attending, contact Emily Vincent.
