Coach and players available for interviews prior to celebration event
WHAT:
ֱ State University will honor its baseball team with a “Season of Champions” event on Thursday, June 28, in the ֱ Student Center Ballroom for its historic run, making it to the College World Series for the first time in school history. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., with a presentation beginning at 7 p.m.
Prior to the celebration, 2012 Mid-American Conference Coach of the Year Scott Stricklin and members of the team will be available to the media for interviews from 5:15 p.m.-5:45 p.m. in Room 204 of the ֱ Student Center.
Herb Page, men’s golf head coach and director of golf at ֱ State, also will be available to discuss the great season of the ֱ State men’s golf team, which advanced to the match-play portion of the NCAA Championship and secured the highest finish in school history by tying for 5th in the nation.

Thursday, June 28
5:15 p.m.-5:45 p.m. – Media interviews with coach Scott Stricklin and players @ ֱ Student Center, Room 204 (room directly above the ֱ Student Center Kiva)
5:30 p.m.-7 p.m. – “Season of Champions” celebration with meet-and-greet and autograph signing @ ֱ Student Center Ballroom (second floor of the ֱ Student Center)
7 p.m. – presentation begins on stage @ ֱ Student Center Ballroom
Media parking is available in front of the MAC Center. Due to construction in front of the student center, what used to be the one-way exit of Risman Drive will serve as your entrance.
