Dillard’s Joins as Presenting Partner for ֱ State’s 2019 Annual Fashion Show

Dillard’s Inc., one of the nation’s premier and largest fashion retailers, will partner with ֱ State University’s School of Fashion Design and Merchandising to present the school’s 2019 Annual Fashion Show, FS2. FS2 Presented by Dillard’s will span three runway events held in the Fashion School’s Rockwell Hall on April 26 and 27.

The 2019 Annual Fashion Show will once again provide an impressive showcase of work by ֱ State’s fashion design and merchandising students. Performances include a 2 p.m. matinee and 7 p.m. awards show on Friday, April 26, and a 7 p.m. sponsor/VIP show on Saturday, April 27. Ticket pricing and on-sale dates for the Friday shows will be announced a later date. Tickets for the Saturday sponsor/VIP show are on sale now and can be purchased online via the Annual Fashion Show webpage at www.kent.edu/fashion/annual-fashion-show.
 
“We are thrilled to have Dillard’s as our presenting sponsor for our 2019 Annual Fashion Show,” said Kim Hahn, interim director of ֱ State’s Fashion School. “We greatly appreciate Dillard’s wonderful support over the past years and look forward to collaborating with them for this big event.” 
 
Last year’s fashion show, subtitled “Alchemy,” featured 94 students’ designs, resulting in 96 single garments and 27 total collections. The theme for this year’s event is “Impression.” The student production team is led by senior co-producers Katie Cartwright and Kylie Douglas.
