COVID-19 Town Hall Meeting Focuses on Value, Purpose of Vaccinations

If you have a chance to get a vaccine, do it.

That was the message from city and university leaders during a March 22, 2021 virtual town hall meeting. 

Participants included:

  • Taryn Burhanna, MSN, APRN, NP-C, lecturer and clinical instructor, Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State College of Nursing
  • Joan Seidel, MA, BSN, RN, CIC, FAPIC, Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ City Health Commissioner
  • Tara Smith, Ph.D., professor of epidemiology, Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State College of Public Health
  • Julie Volcheck, MS, Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State assistant vice president for student affairs and director of University Health Services

Audience members were able to submit questions throughout the 30-minute panel discussion.
