Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University staged its inaugural fashion show during September's New York Fashion Week in partnership with IFA Paris. In this first-of-a-kind event, models walked the runway showcasing collections created by fashion students from Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State and IFA Paris.
The event was co-hosted by Ann Walter, director of Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State's New York City Fashion, and Jean-Baptiste Andreani, CEO of IFA Paris, who worked together for months in planning this event. This joint runway show was created both to increase alumni engagement and to elevate recognition for both school's highly ranked fashion programs, which the directors feel share much in common.
Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State President Todd Diacon attended the show, along with other visitors from the university's Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ Campus.
