Summer camps for kids interested in architecture don’t come along often – at least that’s what Elise Bolton’s mother discovered when she searched for one. But then, not a whole lot of 11-year-olds may dream of becoming architects. But that was the case for Bolton, a sophomore in ����ֱ�� State University’s College of Architecture and Environmental Design, who knew from when she was a young child that she wanted to be an architect.

The Flashes Activities Board brought some cowboy fun to ����ֱ�� State with the FAB Wild West Rodeo. Presented inside the ����ֱ�� Student Center Ballroom, the activities mechanical bull-riding, line dancing, a Skee-Ball shooting gallery and a free ����ֱ�� State cowboy hat giveaway! 

Through the Veterans Affairs Work-Study program, the Credit Transfer Office – which plays a key role in supporting students through their academic journey from processing transfer credits from another institution to awarding Advanced Placement credits – hired a student worker to enhance the office’s operations. She's already making a difference.

For ����ֱ�� State University Honors Leadership Academy, spring break took a more impactful approach by traveling to Buffalo, New York, to work with the local community, specifically children.  

Kendric Hood, who earned his undergraduate and master’s degrees in computer science at ����ֱ�� State University, is now a third-year doctoral student and adjunct instructor researching the practical applications of neuromorphic AI models and transformer-based large language models (LLMs).  

����ֱ�� State continues to excel in hands-on learning, as shown by the ESPN+ livestream broadcast of the ����ֱ�� State Men’s Basketball team’s victory over the Eastern Michigan Eagles. Produced entirely by digital media production undergraduates in the School of Media and Journalism, what could have been a chaotic, high-profile evening was business as usual.

Grill '72, a popular on-campus dining location serving made-to-order burgers, fries and more - including breakfast - had a grand re-opening celebration in its new location on the lower level of the ����ֱ�� Student Center. 

Nineteen-year-old Ellie Baker is motivated by a fear of wasted potential – and she faces it head-on with confidence, dedication, and a strong desire to succeed.

A remarkable achievement highlights the exceptional quality of ����ֱ�� State University’s medical education programs as the College of Podiatric Medicine announced that 100% of eligible students in the Class of 2025 have successfully matched with residency programs across the nation.

With warmer temperatures and "April showers," vibrant spring colors have begun to emerge across ����ֱ�� State's campuses. 

Researchers from ����ֱ�� State University and other institutions have published a study in the Royal Society of Chemistry's journal, “Environmental Science: Processes & Impacts,” detailing the environmental consequences of the chemical spill and burn following a Norfolk Southern train derailment in East Palestine, Ohio, over two years ago.
