����ֱ�� State welcomes Notre Dame College students with a streamlined transfer process.

����ֱ�� State University will be closed July 4 to observe Independence Day. No classes are scheduled on the holiday, and university offices are closed. The university will resume normal operations on July 5.

In its 2024 Best Colleges analysis of more than 700 four-year colleges, Money ranked ����ֱ�� State as the most affordable college in Ohio. 

It was a time to celebrate with victories by Flying Flashes team 52 Peyton Turner and Alyssa Sheehan, who won first-place Intercollegiate Class in the 2024 Air Race Classic and a second ����ֱ�� State team that finished in the top 10.

A campus trail and community bench commemorate the productive partnership between ����ֱ�� State University at Stark, Stark State College and Stark Parks. 

A ����ֱ�� State staffer spotted an unusual visitor atop a section of the University Library. 

U.S. Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg visited ����ֱ�� State University touring the College of Aeronautics and Engineering, and telling students that “the future of aviation leadership is in your hands.”

����ֱ�� State University celebrated Juneteenth on Risman Plaza and the Student Green on June 18 with food, dancing and music. 

Music, dancing and food were all part of ����ֱ�� State University’s lively commemoration of the Juneteenth National Independence Day federal holiday, celebrating the rich history of Black Americans.
