Father and son complete first flight together

A father and son, both Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University alumni, graduates of the professional pilot program in the College of Aeronautics and Engineering, recently achieved a remarkable milestone. Scott and Kyle Koeppl completed their first flight together as Southwest Airlines pilots.

When U.S. Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg visited Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State this summer, he and U.S. Representative (and Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State alumna) Emilia Sykes toured the College of Aeronautics and Engineering and the May 4 Visitors Center.

Tatee Sakr's path to success in the fashion world started at Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University. As a 19-year-old immigrant to the U.S., Sakr chose Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University because it was close to her new home in Cleveland and had a reputable fashion design program. Now an industry professional, she is giving back as a key faculty member.

Recently, university photographers were invited inside Crawford Hall, the new home of the Ambassador Crawford College of Business and Entrepreneurship, to capture images of the progress in its construction.

Anticipation grows as construction on the new home of Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State's Ambassador Crawford College of Business and Entrepreneurship nears completion. The university's newest and largest building will house innovative, state-of-the-art spaces for learning, collaboration and engaging in valuable, hands on business experiences.

Bioblitz 2024

Each spring, students in Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State's Child Development Center look forward to "Bioblitz." It's a day spent in the woods near their center with exploration, discovery and hands-on learning about nature.

On sunny days, in the weeks before finals, students can be found catching rays in the grass on Manchester Field, between the Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ Student Center and Eastway Center.

Fashion design major Kaleigh McGreal has been sharing her story with Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State Today through her final two semesters at Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State in our "Year with a Flash" series. Most recently, as she prepared for graduation, McGreal shared her thoughts about her journey with an inspiring message for other Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State students. 

Dazzling Day and Night, a new exhibit at the Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State Museum.

The Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University Museum celebrated the opening of two new fashion collection exhibits, one of which honors the Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State School of Fashion’s founders and another the style of Hollywood legend Katharine Hepburn. During the celebration, retiring museum director Sarah Rogers was honored, and incoming director Sarah Spinner Liska, Ph.D., was introduced.
