"Bioblitz" is an annual activity for students in Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State's Child Development Center. With faculty and staff guides, the children venture out into the woods near the center and spend a day exploring, discovering and interacting with nature for valuable hands-on learning.
The center uses the natural areas for outdoor learning experiences throughout the year and the children have mapped and named different parts of the woods like "Person's Woods," "Wood Duck Pond," "Wolf's House," and "Alligator Pond." (No wolves or alligators are present at these locations.)
