����ֱ�� State Votes wants to give student voters – especially those voting for the first time – all the information they need to get them to the polls on Election Day. 

Brian VanDeMark, a historian with the United States Naval Academy, has written a new book “����ֱ�� State: An American Tragedy.” He will participate in a panel discussion at ����ֱ�� State on Sept. 27.

When U.S. Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg visited ����ֱ�� State this summer, he and U.S. Representative (and ����ֱ�� State alumna) Emilia Sykes toured the College of Aeronautics and Engineering and the May 4 Visitors Center.

In her first year as the director of the May 4 Visitor Center, Alison Caplan has enjoyed uniquely wonderful and "magical" experiences in how ����ֱ�� State's history creates connections and inspiration.

Celebrating 10 years as a student organization, Her Campus ����ֱ�� State presents a full week of career-focused events with panels, speakers and a runway fashion show.

Alison Caplan, director of the May 4 Visitors Center, provides an up close look at some of the items in the center's "Graphic Content: The Comics of May 4" exhibition.  She also share stories about the art and the artists that created it.  

While Alison Caplan grew up in nearby Akron, Ohio, and has spent time in ����ֱ��, when she joined the university as the new director of the May 4 Visitors Center in July, she began to see, and understand, the campus in a whole new light. Caplan is part of a group of Golden Flashes that ����ֱ�� State Today will be following for the 2023-24 academic year.
