Graduate students in ����ֱ�� State's College of Architecture and Environmental Design received a personal welcome from the college's associate dean at the park outside ����ֱ�� State's Wick Poetry Center. 

In May, student-athlete Gabby Bailey completed her master's degree at ����ֱ�� State while also pursuing her dream of competing in the Olympics with support from her coach and ����ֱ�� State Athletics. 

For User Experience master's student Christina Turner, user experience starts with a person in front of a computer screen. "Everything's gotten so complicated online.... Everyone feels bad if they don't know how to do something on a computer. They really feel like they’ve dropped the ball. So I just do a lot more comforting people. Like, ‘you're not bad at this. This software is terrible. You're doing great.’”

Co-PIs Dr. Michael Strickland (Professor and Chair, Physics), Dr. Qiang Guan (Assistant Professor, Computer Science), and Dr. Barry Dunietz (Associate Professor, Chemistry) have received a $500k grant from the National Science Foundation to develop a quantum computing (QC) training program at ����ֱ�� State University. 

Each year the American Library Association selects student chapters who exemplify values of excellence, service and compliance, and recently ����ֱ�� State’s ALA Student Chapter was selected as the runner-up for the award.
