When representatives from the Royal Thai Embassy visited Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State's Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ Campus, they  toured nursing labs and met with students who have received scholarships through the embassy.

A group of Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University professors recently returned from a visit to the commemoration of the Gwangju Uprising at Chonnam National University in Gwangju, South Korea, feeling inspired for the meaningful connections they made to the May 4, 1970, shootings at Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State.

Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University has announced two substantial philanthropic gifts in support of the Global Education Endowment, which was established in 2022 in recognition of the 50th anniversary of Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State’s education-abroad presence in Florence, Italy.

A professor from Chonnam National University in Gwangju, South Korea, said his recent visit to Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University enabled him to experience his research into the May 4, 1970, Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State shootings in a whole new way.

Vietnamese student Martin Phan learned of the significance of May 4, 1970, after he arrived at Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State last August 2023.

Martin Phan, 23, a nursing major in Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State’s College of Nursing, is one of a growing number of Vietnamese citizens who have chosen to attend Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State.

The famed British designer nicknamed "the Princess of Punk," Dame Zandra Rhodes, will be inducted into the Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State School of Fashion Hall of Fame on April 27.

A year ago, Yeonmin Kim, Ph.D., ’13, a literature professor from Chonnam National University in Gwangju, South Korea, was concluding his time as a visiting professor at Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University with one goal in mind: Create an exchange program between the two schools based on their historic campus tragedies.
