There is a light inside every Golden Flash, and it is our charge to shine that light on others. Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State’s most generous annual tradition, Giving Tuesday, encourages us to reflect on our experiences and shine our light to make our communities Forever Brighter.
Members of the Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University community joined together to cause a ripple effect of change reaching far beyond Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State, raising more than $4.9 million to support scholarships and programs across the university for its Giving Tuesday 2024 campaign.
Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University supporters once again joined together during the university’s Giving Tuesday campaign to raise more than $2.8 million to support a variety of student scholarships and programs.

At Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University, we are continuing the proud tradition of giving back during the Giving Tuesday campaign this November. This monthlong celebration of giving brings the Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State community together to support student success and build a brighter future for the blue and gold.
This November, members of the Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University community joined together to shine their light on philanthropy. During the November campaign, Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State’s Giving Tuesday raised $3.6 million, marking the sixth year it has brought in more than $1 million to support scholarships and programs across Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State’s eight-campus system.
This Giving Tuesday, shine your light on Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State students and programs with a gift of $25 or more to the fund of your choice and receive a special Forever Brighter pin to celebrate your impact. Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State’s most generous annual tradition runs Nov. 1-29, with special giving incentives throughout the month. Make your impact go further by participating in Giving Tuesday!
On Thursday, Nov. 3 at 5:30 p.m., the women’s basketball team will be hosting Mercyhurst University in the MAC Center for their first game of the season. All Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State faculty and staff who present a valid Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State ID will receive free admission for themselves and one guest.
This year, Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University donors demonstrated the power of philanthropy by giving at unprecedented levels. The 2021 Giving Tuesday campaign shattered the previous records, more than tripling last year’s record of $2.2 million.
