The Chautauqua Institution will feature the Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University Wick Poetry Center’s Traveling Stanzas exhibit in its new Poetry Makerspace this summer.

This summer, visitors to the beautiful Chautauqua Lake area of New York can experience Traveling Stanzas and engage with Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University students as the university’s Wick Poetry Center extends its reach and further establishes its mission.

Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University President Beverly J. Warren presented 13 Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State faculty members with the 2018 President’s Faculty Excellence Award.

Their remarkable work takes place in studios, classrooms, laboratories and outdoors. They have been published in prestigious journals, authored books and received significant research grants. Now, they add a new honor to their list of notable achievements.

Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University at Tuscarawas receives recognition from the Ohio Statehouse for the 50th anniversary of the campus. Brad Bielski, dean of the campus, receives proclamations for the milestone.

Fifty cheers for 50 years. Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University at Tuscarawas received recognition at the Ohio Statehouse in Columbus to honor its upcoming 50th anniversary.

The Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University Hotel and Conference Center is lit up at night, welcoming visitors to downtown Ñý¼§Ö±²¥. The hotel marked its fifth anniversary this past June.

More than 100,000 rooms reserved, nearly 146,000 guests served, more than 2,000 events hosted and 89 weddings booked.

George R. Newkome, Ph.D., and his wife, Mary Jane Saunders, Ph.D., have pledged $1 million to fund a first-ever professorship in materials science in Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University’s College of Arts and Sciences.

Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University at Trumbull student Sarah Heavner will play the role of a costumed character during her internship at Disney World this fall. Ms. Heavner is a communication studies major and minoring in theatre.

Beauty, brains, poise and talent were on full display at the Renaissance Theatre in Mansfield, Ohio, on June 16 where Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University student Matti-Lynn Chrisman bested 19 other beauty queens to win the crown and title of Miss Ohio 2018.
