The Campus Kitchen at Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University is celebrating eight years of making an impact across campus and in the Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ community, annually turning 60,000 pounds of leftover food into 18,000 meals.

Radd Ehrman, Ph.D., who teaches languages including Latin, is one of three educators honored with the Distinguished Teaching Award, the highest teaching award a tenured or tenure-track professor can receive. All tenured and tenure-track professors are eligible to receive the award which is sponsored by the Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University Alumni Association.

Angela Rye, principal and CEO of IMPACT Strategies, will join the university in celebrating the life and legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. on Jan. 23 at 3:30 p.m. in the Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ Student Center Ballroom.
