Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State Student at Senior Center

Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State's College of Public Health has launched a three-year initiative, funded by Medical Mutual, to enhance senior health and wellness in Greater Cleveland. The project includes a comprehensive community needs assessment involving over 20 senior centers, continuing education for senior center staff, and bi-weekly visits from Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State's "Mobile Flashes" student teams.

On July 19 and 26, Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University Admissions welcomes high school students and transfer students to campus for student-led tours. Visiting students and their parents learn about life at Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State, support services, programs of study and, sometimes, get to meet campus celebrities.

Former Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University football player Will Matthews continues to find success with his Southern Comfort Kitchen food truck and restaurant. He first came up with the idea while a student at the university.

Recently, university photographers were invited inside Crawford Hall, the new home of the Ambassador Crawford College of Business and Entrepreneurship, to capture images of the progress in its construction. 

Engineering students use computers in the Cyber Range classroom

Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State has been named a Regional Programming Center by the Ohio Cyber Range Institute, joining a statewide network to enhance cybersecurity education and workforce development. As part of this initiative, the university will contribute to various programming activities and host outreach events in Northeast Ohio, furthering its commitment to excellence in cybersecurity engineering education.

Anticipation grows as construction on the new home of Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State's Ambassador Crawford College of Business and Entrepreneurship nears completion. The university's newest and largest building will house innovative, state-of-the-art spaces for learning, collaboration and engaging in valuable, hands on business experiences. 

2024 ARI-AHEC Scholar Graduates

Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State student Elizabeth Marhefka recognized as ARI-AHEC’s 2024 Scholar of the Year. The senior biology and premed student was honored for her passion for medicine and commitment to community engagement.

Each spring, students in Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State's Child Development Center look forward to "Bioblitz." It's a day spent in the woods near their center with exploration, discovery and hands-on learning about nature.

When longtime Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University journalism professor Susan Zake decided to pursue a new career with the non-profit online news source, Signal Akron, she made a hiring list from the many Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State graduates she had mentored over her 17-year career.
