Juneteenth Jubilee will be held Tuesday June 18 from 11 a.m.– 1:30 p.m. on the ����ֱ�� Campus, Student Green/Risman Plaza. It is free and open to the public.

����ֱ�� State conferred a Doctor of Letters honorary degree to alumnus Willard Jenkins for his “extraordinary contributions in promulgating jazz music and its importance to American culture and in advancing ����ֱ�� State University.”

Yet, in the nearly two decades that she’s been in her current role, Gullion said women’s history has really been regarded as an emerging field with plenty of research yet to be done.

Omar Salam, founder and creative director of the global fashion house SUKEINA, will be making a special trip from the runway to ����ֱ�� State University’s Rockwell Hall as Salam has been named the 2023 inductee of the university’s School of Fashion Hall of Fame.

The ����ֱ�� State University Orchestra will perform with the ����ֱ�� Chorus and Chorale on Sunday in the Cartwright Auditorium.
