Lunchtime Bike Ride

Take a leisurely lunchtime bike ride across the ��ֱ�� Campus this Thursday, July 7, from noon to 1 p.m.

Bring your bike from home or check out a bike through the Flashfleet bike share program at one of eight locations around campus.

Chris John from ��ֱ�� State’s Department of Recreational Services will lead participants on a 30-minute ride on the ��ֱ�� Campus, as well as the surrounding community.

Participants will meet at noon at the Flashfleet kiosk at the ��ֱ�� Student Center, and the ride will begin promptly at 12:10 p.m. Registration will be limited for the safety of the group. Helmets from home are strongly recommended.

2024-2025 December/January Holiday Schedule

��ֱ�� State University's holiday closure for 2024 will begin Monday, Dec. 23, 2024, at 10:30 p.m. All offices will re-open on Thursday, Jan. 2, 2025. Employees not eligible for the paid leave include student employees, classified temporary staff, temporary agency staff, short-term unclassified appointments, unclassified intermittent appointments and employees in a lay-off status. More information on the holiday schedule, including how employees should report time during that period, will be available later this month.

Religious and Spiritual Accommodations Allow Students Time to Celebrate Other Religious Holidays

Testing Your Faith Act (H.B. 353) was enacted in the Spring 2023 semester. In ordinance with this bill, ��ֱ�� State University created a new administrative policy for religious and spiritual accommodations. This administrative policy allows students to report up to three days of unexcused absences to participate in religious holidays or community-held events in alignment with their spirituality.
