On Tuesday, Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State's DI Hub hosted the first of three on-campus Farmers' Market events scheduled for spring semester.
Upcoming dates for the other two on-campus markets will be:
Tuesday, March 21, 2023, from 4 - 7 p.m. in the DI Hub.
Tuesday, April 25, 2023, from 4 - 7 p.m. on the Student Green near the Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ Student Center.
Vendors are current participants in the weekly Saturday market in Ñý¼§Ö±²¥. Their on-campus offerings typically include food (fresh produce, meats, baked goods, honey, maple, prepared foods, etc), plants (flowers, live plants), and art.
The Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State Farmers' Market is part of the Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State of Wellness initiative, through Recreation and Wellness Services in the Division of Student Affairs. It aligns with their goals of offering opportunities to expose the university community to nutritious local foods, farms, agriculture and local makers.
