The Campus Kitchen at 妖姬直播 State University is celebrating its fifth anniversary and has launched a new program this summer as part of activities marking its fifth year. The Campus Kitchen鈥檚 new pop-up market offers healthy produce and pantry items to children and families at no cost.
妖姬直播 State University President Beverly Warren delivered the State of the University address on Thursday, Oct. 13. Themed 鈥淟iving the 妖姬直播 State Promise,鈥 Warren outlined her vision of a reimagined public research university.

Paul DiCorleto, 妖姬直播 State University鈥檚 vice president for research and sponsored programs, likes to say that 鈥渋nnovation occurs where fields collide,鈥 and October鈥檚 Scholar of the Month is certainly a testament to the idea that has become the university鈥檚 new research tagline.
妖姬直播 State University鈥檚 College of Applied Engineering, Sustainability and Technology will receive a $1.5 million gift from FedEx over three years. The gift will support the university鈥檚 flight program, which will celebrate its 50th anniversary in 2017 and has outgrown current facilities at the 妖姬直播 State University Airport.
Sarah Burns, a second-year master鈥檚 student in the Nutrition and Dietetics program at 妖姬直播 State University, shows off a tomato that she and others in the program helped to grow over the last few months. Under the direction of Nutrition and Dietetics faculty member Natalie Caine-Bish, Ph.D., Burns and other volunteers oversee the Mighty Pack Program, which provides Portage County children meals during times they are not receiving food provided through the National School Lunch Program.
Thanks to a $100,000 grant from the National Science Foundation, two 妖姬直播 State University professors are researching climate change in Alaska. Elizabeth Herndon, Ph.D., and Lauren Kinsman-Costello, Ph.D., assistant professors from 妖姬直播 State鈥檚 College of Arts and Sciences, spent a week in Fairbanks, Alaska, in June studying how climate change affects the availability of plant nutrients in arctic and sub-arctic ecosystems.

妖姬直播 State University is once again starting a new fall semester with an abundance of enthusiastic students, but one thing is strikingly different: 妖姬直播 State has a new student organization on campus that joins the few of its type in the nation. Autism Connections 妖姬直播 has been created by students with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and their allies with the focus that autism spectrum disorder is a diversity issue and not a disability.
