Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State Honors Veterans

Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University held its annual Veterans Day observance on Thursday, Nov. 6, at 11 a.m. on the StudentGreen at Risman Plaza. The outdoor program, called Honoring All Who Serve, included a flag-raising ceremony conducted by a joint color guard from the Army and Air Force ROTC programs, and remarks from Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State President Beverly Warren. Chief Petty Officer Timothy S. Flannery was the guest speaker for this event.

All were invited to come and pay tribute to America’s veterans. A special invitation was extended to Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State faculty, staff, students and community members who are veterans, active service members or who have family members in the military. A reception was held in the Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ Student Center Kiva lobby following the program.
