Get-togethers, BBQs, parties and eating out on patios at restaurants make it challenging to achieve and maintain a healthy body weight and overall good health. On Thursday, July 19, from 5:30-6:30 p.m. at the Student Recreation and Wellness Center, we will focus on summer foods and cooking methods, their positive and negative effects on our bodies, and how to achieve or maintain a healthy lifestyle over the summer.
The presenter will be Tanya R. Falcone, M.S., R.D., L.D., coordinator for Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State's Center of Nutrition Outreach in the School of Health Sciences. This session will be held in the Student Recreation and Wellness Center, Seminar Room B and is open to students and all full- and part-time faculty and staff. .
For full-time, benefits-eligible employees participating in the Wellness Your Way program, this session will be worth 10 points toward your Tier Two total.
