New major helps area agencies meet community needs

Students and agencies throughout northeastern Ohio are the beneficiaries of Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University's College of Applied and Technical Studies' new Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) program, currently offered in a hybrid model through the Ashtabula, Salem and Tuscarawas Campuses. 

Program director and lecturer Matt Butler, MSSA, LISW-S, LICDC-CS recently welcomed the Star Beacon into one of his classes in the Zoom Room for a first-hand look at the growing program and its potential to make a huge impact in our area.
