Ohio TechCred at Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State
Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University is a credentialed training provider of educational courses for Ohio's TechCred Program, which launched in September 2019 to give employers the chance to upskill current and future employees in today’s tech-infused economy. Through TechCred, businesses can identify the specific qualifications they need and employees they want to upskill toward a more advanced position. In partnership with a training provider like Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University, the employer can apply online at TechCred.Ohio.Gov.
Employers who submit successful applications will be reimbursed up to $2,000 per credential
when current or prospective employees complete eligible technology-focused credentials.

How do businesses get started?
- Identify skills needs and employees.
- Partner with a credential provider — such as Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University.
- Apply online through
- Enroll your employees in the program.
- Upload proof of Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State credential completion.
- Receive reimbursement of up to $2,000 per employee per credential.
It's that easy! Employers must file reimbursement applications within six weeks of each employee completing a credential. The reimbursement can cover tuition, lab fees, manuals, textbooks, and other certification costs.
