Travel Study - New York City

Interested in traveling this Spring 2024 semester? Register for the School of Art’s New York City travel study program. Undergraduate and graduate students will have the opportunity to engage in artist studios, museums, and galleries in New York City. The New York City travel study program will take place March 7 - 11, 2024. Courses are offered in painting, ceramics and sculpture for two credit hours. Art history courses are offered at three credit hours every fall.

Program Cost

There is a course fee of $599 for studio art sections (2 credits). If you register for a two-credit hour class, you may contact instructors to determine if an independent study can be added for one credit hour. Course fees cover bus transportation, hostel lodging, museum entrances, and studio visits. Students pay for their food, metro passes and incidentals throughout travel.

The NYC Travel Study is open to all School of Art majors! If you are a School of Art minor or non-major, please contact a faculty member for permission to enroll. Students must be at least 18 years or older to register. If you are experiencing problems when registering, please contact the faculty member of record.
