Undergraduate Programs
The School of Art provides endless opportunities for undergraduates delving into Art Education, Art History and Studio Art. Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University offers B.A. degrees in Art History and Studio Art and B.F.A. degrees in Art Education and Studio Art.
Students are supported and challenged by a world-class faculty, who stimulate individual and collaborative creativity in the classroom, studio and gallery spaces. An accredited institutional member of the National Association of Schools of Art and Design (NASAD), Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University lies in the heart of the vibrant Northeast Ohio arts community with easy access to renowned museums and galleries. The School of Art offers a variety of minors, hands-on classroom experiences for Art Education majors, access to the School of Art Collection and Galleries, a year-round visiting artist and scholar program, summer studio intensives, an on-site digital fabrication studio, and travel study to New York City, Washington D.C., Florence, and Beijing among other national and international destinations. All studios and classrooms are located in the new Center for the Visual Arts, which had its grand opening in 2016.
