Former Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State Golfers Shine at Presidents Cup

Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University made a splash in professional golf over the weekend, with three alumni – Corey Conners, Mackenzie Hughes, and Taylor Pendrith – representing the International team at the recent Presidents Cup in Montreal. 

The architect of this success, retired Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State coach Herb Page, was present at the event supporting his former players, who credited him for their development both on and off the course. 

Despite initial challenges, the Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State trio found success during the competition, each securing their first team points in Presidents Cup play and showcasing the enduring impact of their Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State experience on the international stage.

The United States would win the President's Cup for the 10th straight time by a final score of 18 1/2 to 11 1/2.
