While colleges across the country have worked to find ways to recruit the next class during the pandemic, ֱ State is being recognized for its unique and innovative techniques to find the class of 2025.
A recent story by News 5 Cleveland highlighted the untraditional drive-in theater admissions events that ֱ State University has hosted over the past few weeks. In lieu of typical on-campus events, the ֱ State admissions team has traveled across Ohio and hosted “KSU2U” drive-in presentation experiences for prospective students and families.
Both parents and students have needed additional clarity during the college admissions process this year due to the lack of in-person campus experiences, and the drive-in events provide a way for potential Flashes to experience campus life even when they cannot physically visit.
“We were just trying to think of a way that we could still get families and students information that we needed to get to them during their college search process,” ֱ State Admissions Director Mark Ledoux told News 5 Cleveland. “We take them right into the resident halls and the buildings on campus, so they can get a sense of what it’s like to be on campus.”
