Ken Ditlevson, director of Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State's LGBTQ+ Center, was one of the volunteers adding rainbows to both sides of the Main Street Bridge in downtown Ñý¼§Ö±²¥.

Volunteers decorated Ñý¼§Ö±²¥'s Main Street Bridge on Monday in preparation for Ñý¼§Ö±²¥'s Rainbow Weekend on Oct. 13-14. The rainbows downtown also celebrate National Coming Out Day on Oct. 11.

One of the highlights of the Rainbow Weekend's is the eighth annual Rainbow Run presented by Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University's LGBTQ+ Center. This 5K helps raise money to replenish Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State's LGBTQ+ Emergency Fund, which supports Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State LGBTQ+ students in crisis.
