Students in a preschool class at Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State's Child Development Center were welcomed by Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State's Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry for a personalized, hands-on learning experience.
Kara Barnett, the department's senior chemical health and safety coordinator, showed the students how to use chromatography to make butterflies, demonstrated chemical reactions using safe, household ingredients and taught them about the process of sublimation using fun bubbles.
