ֱ State University President Todd Diacon, Ph.D., greeted students at the Flashes Vote Festival by asking, "Have you met ֱ State's President? He's ME!" and offering a free ֱ State Votes t-shirt.
Diacon helped attract students to the event on on Sept. on Risman Plaza, which was both National Voter Registration Day and National Beignet Day. Students could get information about voting from several student organizations and community groups, register to vote and pledge to vote in exchange for a free, freshly made beignet from Erie Street Kitchen.
