A video team from Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University interviewed students in the American Academy program in Curitiba, Paraná, Brazil.
The team in is Brazil, along with university leaders to meet with the administrators, faculty and students and to attend the Winter Commencement ceremonies on Friday night.
The American Academy (AA) is a dual-enrollment program offered jointly by Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University and the Pontifical Catholic University of Paraná (PUCPR), located in Curitiba, Paraná, Brazil.
Launched in July 2018, the program allows students to complete their first two years of undergraduate study in Brazil at the PUCPR campus, taking Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State classes taught in English by Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State faculty members, and earning academic credit from both universities simultaneously.
At the end of the two years, students can earn a Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University Associate of Science degree and can then choose whether to finish their bachelor’s degree in the United States at Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State’s Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ Campus, or in Brazil at PUCPR.
