The 2023-2024 season of the Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State Farmers' Market kicks off on the Student Green on Sept. 19 from 4-7 p.m.
The university has partnered with Haymaker Farmers' Market to bring a farmers' market to the Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ Campus. The Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State Farmers' Market provides students with opportunities to learn about the local farming community, select fresh produce and connect with the broader Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ community.
For this season, each Farmers' Market will feature a chef's demo by a different representative from University Culinary Services. For September, Edward Shawn Hardin Sr., executive chef at Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State's Design Innovation Dining facility in the DI Hub, will be preparing gazpacho in celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month.
