Flash met a younger-than-teenage mutant ninja turtle, Olivia Hiser, 4 and her brother "Ghostface" Jacob Hiser, 7. Jacob attended Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State's Child Development Center (CDC) and Olivia currently attends the center. Their family lives in Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ and their mother, Gina Giles Hiser (husband Andy), is a Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ native and has worked in Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State's Division of Philanthropy and Alumni Engagement.

"Colonel Sanders" is Beckett Miller, 9. His mother is April Feorene Miller and her husband Jake Miller, M.A. '11, is a Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State alumnus.
Costumed trick-or-treaters visited participating downtown businesses and local organizations to receive tasty treats.
