IN A FLASH: Brickwork Through a New Lens

The Holomasonry project uses Microsoft HoloLens Mixed Reality technology to assemble brick structures — without mortar — from a virtual design. Computer-guided placement augments the capabilities of designers and builders in constructing complex architectural geometry with improved construction efficiency and structural stability.

This project was created by faculty from Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State's College of Architecture and Environmental Design: Rui Liu, Ph.D.; Bill LucakLameck Onsarigo, Ph.D.; and Simon Adamtey, Ph.D.
