Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University has launched a comprehensive new webpage for the upcoming total solar eclipse on Monday, April 8.
Many Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State campuses and locations will be in the path of totality for the solar eclipse, during which the moon will completely black out the sun for approximately three minutes. On the Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ Campus, the complete blackout will occur at 3:15 p.m. The city of Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ and some of the Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State campuses and locations are expecting a large number of visitors to converge upon their communities to view this once-in-a-lifetime spectacle. As a result, Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State is canceling in-person classes on April 8 at all Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State campuses and locations. Online or remote-format classes may continue. Visit the webpage for details.
The new Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State Total Solar Eclipse 2024 webpage includes a wide variety of helpful information, including a countdown timer, cool wallpaper downloads, updates for class schedules on April 8, details about eclipse-related events on campus and information about eye safety during the eclipse.
