Local elementary school students cheer on the Golden Flashes on School Field Trip Day

On a special field trip day, more than 1,500 students from local elementary schools cheered Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State's women's basketball team to victory.

Dhruba Panthi, Ph.D., assistant professor of Engineering Technology at Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University at Tuscarawas, is this year’s winner of the Farris Family Innovation Award. His research focuses on hydrogen fuel because its only byproduct is water, which is harmless to the environment, unlike other fuels that result in carbon dioxide emissions that pose a great environmental threat.

The Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University community is remembering the legacy of its ninth president, Michael Schwartz, Ph.D., who died on Jan. 2, 2024, following a long illness. He was 86.
