Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State celebrates its new partnership with Dewey International University in Cambodia.

Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University Provost and Senior Vice President Melody Tankersley, Ph.D., and Vice President for Global Education Marcello Fantoni joined officials from Dewey International University in Battambang, Cambodia, to celebrate a new partnership expected to bring Cambodian students to Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State.

The "Understanding and Combating Antisemitism" discussion was a continuation of the yearlong initiative â€œDialogue and Difference: A New Understanding,†designed to engage the Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State community and advance our core values of freedom of expression, respect, and kindness in all we do.

Spring semesters on university campuses are marked by heightened social and political awareness and activities. With Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University’s roots as a champion of free speech and student activism, President Todd Diacon is reminding the university community of our commitment to freedom of expression as a core value guiding our work.

One of the many take-aways from the Dialogue and Difference program "Understanding and Combating Islamophobia" was that overcoming Islamophobia and other forms of racism and bigotry may be as simple as remembering the lessons we should have been taught as children.
