Hosted by the Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State Department of Accounting, the event brought together 85 students from Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ Theodore Roosevelt High School, North Canton Hoover High School, Aurora High School and Tallmadge High School. The competition was sponsored by The Ohio Society of CPAs, Pease Bell CPAs, Robert Fay, Ernst & Young, Novogradac and RSM.

Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State alumnus Richard Batyko, M.A., ’12, has committed his life and career to making the world, specifically Greater Cleveland, a better place. This year, he and the YMCA of Greater Cleveland (for which he serves as Chief Marketing Officer) are working with Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University advertising and public relations seniors in the capstone class, Campaigns in Advertising and Public Relations, to raise awareness about the organization's mission.
Mary Seats, a 2010 graduate of Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University, says she combined the tools she acquired while a student at Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State with her own passion and grit to create the successes she enjoys today.
Jason Werstler, a 2001 Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University graduate who majored in education, is one of 25 teachers across the nation who were recently recognized for teaching excellence. He teaches construction at Massillon Washington High School in Massillon, Ohio.
