IN A FLASH: Service with a Smile - and a Wag

"It looks like you're busy - I'll hold the leash."

Senior Visual Communication Design major, Malia White and her service dog Lipton are both learning in assistant professor Tim Bell's Fashion Photography class in the School of Visual Communication and Design(VCD)

According to the Office of Student Accessibility Services (SAS), service animals are welcome in nearly all parts of our campuses, unless the animal's presence would compromise a sterile environment.

SAS has posted a complete listing of guidelines for service animals on campus. It's important to remember that the service animals you see on campus are working animals and not pets, so you should not pet, feed or otherwise distract them from their jobs.  SAS includes a list of etiquette tips for interacting with service animals and their human companions on their service animal webpage.
