Committee Q
Committee Q is AAUP-KSU’s LGBTQIA2S+ Faculty Advocacy Committee. Representatives from across the main and regional campuses meet regularly to identify and address concerns for LGBTQIA2S+ faculty in coordination with the LGBTQ+ Resource Center, Spectrum, and the Division of People, Culture, and Belonging. Current subcommittees are focused on strengthening university policies and procedures for instances of harassment and misgendering, addressing issues with the dissemination of chosen names and pronouns across KSU virtual systems, increasing the number of gender neutral bathrooms on campus, and increasing the visibility of and connections among LGBTQIA2S+ faculty across campus. Domestic Partner Benefits
Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University offers domestic partner benefits to eligible employees. The benefits will extend to both same gender and opposite gender partners of university faculty, unclassified employees and unrepresented classified employees.
