Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State's Newest Officer: Dexter, the Explosive-Detection Dog

 

 

Dexter, Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University's newest officer and explosive-detection canine, was introduced to the university community on Nov. 19. A male Belgian Malinois, Dexter is ready to patrol Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State and neighboring communities alongside his handler Officer Miguel H. Witt.

The Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University Board of Trustees endorsed the 2024 University Remediation Report at its Dec. 12 meeting. The report provides a comprehensive overview of student remediation at the university.

Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University will be closed Monday, Nov. 11, in observance of the Veterans Day holiday. No classes are scheduled, and university offices are closed.

The Greater Cleveland LGBTQ+ Community Needs Assessment findings are in. Led by Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University’s College of Public Health, in collaboration with 120 local organizations and nonprofits, this groundbreaking initiative marks a significant stride toward understanding and addressing the unmet needs of LGBTQ+ individuals across Cuyahoga, Geauga, Lake and Lorain counties.
