The 17th annual Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ Heritage Festival will take place on Saturday, July 7, from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. in downtown Ñý¼§Ö±²¥. Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ 130 vendors and businesses will participate in the festival with about 25,000 visitors expected.
The festival will feature the first Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ Heritage Festival Car Show, which will take place on College Street. The , which benefits the United Way of Portage County, will take place from 7 p.m. beginning at Dix Stadium, and fireworks in downtown Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ begin at 10 p.m.
Crafters and food vendors will line Main, North and South Water and Erie streets, and three stages will be set up throughout downtown to provide all-day entertainment. There will be activities for all ages.
The festival is organized by the Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ Area Chamber of Commerce and Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ United Service Organizations, which is composed of the city of Ñý¼§Ö±²¥, the Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ Licensed Beverage Association, Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ Jaycees, Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ Lions, Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ Junior Mothers, Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ Kiwanis, Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ Rotary Knights of Columbus and Main Street Ñý¼§Ö±²¥.
