On March 10, Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University officials ceased face-to-face classes and has allowed for flexible work arrangements through April 12 due to the ongoing spread of COVID-19.
The Division of Information Technology has created a guide on how to maintain productivity using collaborative tools like Microsoft Teams when working off site; this guide can be found at /keeponworking. Below are some quick practices and recommendations from the university:
- Only connect to trusted networks (i.e., your home password-protected network, not public wifi) when working off-campus.
- Be sure to use only university trusted cloud storage sites (Microsoft OneDrive and Google Drive) when storing files and collaborating on university work.
- Avoid changing your password from home unless prompted by the Office of Security and Access Management or the Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State Helpdesk. If instructed to do so, only change your password via the university VPN.
